For our Research & Insights Team in Berlin, Germany we are recruiting, initially limited to 18 months, for a

Trainee Research & Insights (m/f)

In our Berlin office you will get an 18-month traineeship, that prepares you for the challenges of being a TV market analyst. You have the opportunity to get experiences in different areas of market research and you will also have the chance to build a national and international business network at VIACOM International Media Networks.

Why it’s the right job for you:

  • Support the team conducting primary & secondary research for our channels in Germany, Switzerland and Austria
  • Introduction in the methodical basics & training in TV research tools (TV Scope, AdEdge)
  • Introduction and training in special analysis (constellation, migration, profile etc.)
  • Support the team in quantitative and qualitative research projects, starting with the conception until the presentation of the results
  • Own research projects and analysis tasks, solving them independently, supported by the research team
  • Your traineeship is based on a development plan which is as structured as needed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the work in a research department but also flexible to let you bring in your own ideas and fields you want to grow in

That‘s why we want you:

  • Successfully finished studies, ideally in Media, Social or Economic Studies
  • Previous experience with media measurement metrics or primary research desired
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for numbers and statistics
  • Affinity towards the media
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Independent and proactive, a fast learner, motivated and able to work under deadlines
  • Fluent in German & English
