For our Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we are recruiting for a:

Trade Marketing & Sales Support Manager Benelux, Nordics & Central Eastern Europe

Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) license and develop product across our successful portfolio of Viacom brands including PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants.

The Trade Marketing & Sales Support Manager Benelux, Nordics & CEE reports into the Sr. Director Licensing Benelux, Nordics & CEE, and will be responsible for preparing, developing and improving trade marketing materials and tasks, and will also support the Sr. Director Licensing with the admin involved in the commercial deal-making process.


  • Managing information stream
  • Work with internal departments and the Licensing Agency to collect all relevant information with regard to the key CP properties
  • Maintain existing status reports, create and implement new reports and processes to facilitate the smooth running of the team and CPLG and sharing of information with other offices/divisions.
  • Share learnings & local success stories with other territories (manage our internal PR)
  • Follow up on requests for information and input (both internal and external)
  • Update master documents like local brand presentations and licensee lists
  • Developing compelling sales materials
  • Translate key information into compelling and effective sales materials and constantly improve the way these are being shared with the CP stakeholders like (potential) licensees, retailers, master toy partners, distributors, etc. on a regular basis
  • Create attractive and effective presentation materials for sales pitches
  • Develop and handle bespoke retail mailing concepts
  • Managing Trade Events
  • Plan, develop and implement licensee workshops and partner events (in cooperation with team and agents)
  • Sales support
  • Assist the Sr. Director with information, analysis and presentations
  • Smoothen and speed up the administrative process of new deals
  • The job is based in Amsterdam, and you will be part of a small dynamic team of 4, plus 2 interns.


  • A Bachelor degree in Marketing/Communication/Business
  • 3 years of relevant working experience in a commercial environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Accurate
  • Good MS PowerPoint and Excel skills;
  • Flexible and hands-on
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Able to prioritise work load with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines; resourceful with managing projects.
  • Strong team player – ability to work with different teams bringing out the best, and ability to acknowledge and bring together objectives of a variety of entities
  • Ability to take information from different sources and relay it across various territories
  • International state of mind, easy to cope with different nationalities, cultures and personalities
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Demonstrates diplomacy, in the most difficult situations; maintains positive relationships with tact and efficiency along with a good sense of humour.
