For our HR team based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands we are looking for a:

                        HR Administrator (36-40 hours per week)

The HR Administrator is responsible for managing the delivery of a range of HR services such as onboarding, contractual changes, leaver processes and for coordinating the effective handling of HR cases. Recruitment will also be part of the responsibilities. The HR Administrator is required to ensure that our HR processes are conducted efficient, consistent and to a high standard, to ensure that the team delivers a high quality service to the business. The HR administrator works closely with the HR Officer and HR Business Partner and will report into the HR Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • Delivers first level HR support to Managers and Employees;
  • Drafts and processes all types of documents and letters regarding new joiners, changes during employment and leavers;
  • Manages the personnel information system(s) correctly and in an efficient way, optimizes the use of personnel information and is responsible for accurate and timely mutations;
  • Ensures all given mutations will be accurately and timely delivered as input for the monthly payroll process;
  • Knows the specifications and the quality of all HR and related business processes and provides support and guidance to Managers and Employees;
  • Monitors and reports on quality and quantity of the work performed;
  • Acts as knowledgeable contact person towards all related external parties such as payroll provider, tax office, UWV, Health insurance, Pension provider etc and is responsible for flawless administrational process towards them;
  • Administers the output of all benefits schemes and insurances (savings, pension, lease etc.);
  • Timely and properly filing in the personnel files (digital and hard copy);
  • Assists with recruitment, onboarding of new employees and carries out orientation training ;
  • Manages facility requirements and maintains relationships with service providers;
  • Assists the HR Business Partner and HR Director with any given tasks and/or projects.

This why we want you:

  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in an International HR back office environment;
  • Completed bachelor (HBO) degree e.g. HR or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of Dutch social tax system and labor law;
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology applications;
  • Accustomed to working with deadlines;
  • Accurate;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken);
  • Excellent knowledge and affinity with MS Office, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of system administration, preferably PeopleSoft and ADP;
  • Flexible attitude and experience working in a rapidly changing environment ;
  • Proactive personality with a good sense of humor, positive energy and multi-tasking abilities.
