For our VIMN GSA team in Berlin we are recruiting, limited to a maternity cover until November 2019 for

Digital Project Manager (f/m)

The position covers digital projects to business development initiatives for all Viacom brands in GSA (Germany Switzerland Austria): MTV, VIVA, Nickelodeon & Comedy Central. The role is primarily responsible for the non-linear projects within the region, working closely with brands, Ad Sales, Marketing, Affiliates, Programming and Research teams while keeping close alignment with our Cluster SWEMEA (Southern Western Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Headquarters in New York.

Just the right job for you:

  • Driving strategy for digital platforms across GSA, with a particular focus on driving content windowing strategies, in close cooperation with our headquarter colleagues in New York and Madrid. You are focusing on performance and monetization through collaborative programming and product-development initiatives.
  • Acting as business owner for Multiplatform products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Taking initiative to find synergies and identify new business growth opportunities based on VIMN brands / properties / platforms, including VOD, AVOD, SVOD, OTT, applications.
  • Roll-out of diverse digital projects defined for GSA, collaborating with International Multiplatform Product Development and Strategy teams. Attend all relevant strategy calls, ensuring a smooth and timely project management taking regional specifics and global demands into account
  • Leverage regional and international market data and research to drive data and analytics that determine effective and sellable content windowing strategies. Track and capitalize on market trends in content categories, consumption habits, and emerging platform opportunities.
  • Be an in-house Multiplatform expert; stay up to date on the latest in mobile devices, streaming media players, connected devices and other emerging platforms.

  • You thrive in a fast moving, collaborative environment and are passionate about content and creating digital products that delight users and drive KPIs.
  • You operate both independently and as part of a broader team; juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment.
  • At least 3 - 5 years previous digital project management and/or digital business development experience
  • Distinct affinity to VIMN’s target groups and knowledge of the television and digital content market
  • Bachelor's degree in media, planning, economics, business or public administration, or an equivalent combination of skills, training and experience.
  • Highly skilled in excel
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and German
